The world is evolving and cultures are intermingling. We are in contact with more and more diverse people. It is necessary to get to know their culture, especially in a hospitable environment, in order to overcome cultural barriers and offer a quality service. This is why the Vall d’Hebron Hospital in Barcelona has launched an initiative in the form of online courses for its employees.
These online courses are designed to provide health and social service professionals with the tools and practices to understand the needs of their patients and improve their treatment.
At Webbing Online we believe that this is a good opportunity to introduce e-learning platforms to a new sector. Basically, they are platforms or Moodle in which, through video clips, videoconferences, articles, exercises, tests and an infinite number of possibilities, users can learn.
Web content structure
As it is an e-learning platform only for workers at Vall d’Hebron Hospital, unregistered users will stay on the home page.
The home page has a simple but very clear and colourful design that shows the spirit of the initiative. Here is a brief explanation of the cause of the courses, the objective and who it is aimed at.
At the top left is the action button that redirects to the home page. At the moment there is only one course and therefore only one page, but we have added it so that in future, when there are more courses on offer, the button will redirect to the menu.
Just on the opposite side we find the LOGIN tab to get to the login page. On this new page, staff who have access to the course will have to enter their username and password. Once you are logged in, you can start learning!
